Wouldn’t you say that the discipline it takes to get up early every morning, get all of our stuff done, consume right and properly take care of ourselves every day is tough? Well, I concur with you. It is difficult to do all the things that we are supposed to do. But, you need to know what is really hard? It is truly difficult to know that other individuals are getting up early and getting their things done while we are not. And it’s likewise actually difficult sensation our health, vigor, and enthusiasm gradually escaping from us as we load on one pound after another and it gets harder and harder to move our body with the vigor for life that it was indicated to be moved.
To tell you the truth, discipline is hardest in the start. As soon as we overcome the initial struggle of not feeling like we want to self-discipline ourselves something wonderful takes place. We begin to really like self-control and the routines that goes with it. Hey, what can I say? We people like structure and some form of organization and control in our lives; and these are the positive things that discipline brings with it.
Do not get me incorrect. I am not saying that self-control will constantly be simple once we get pass the initial hump of self-imposed resistance. There will be times in the future when we won’t seem like doing a few of the important things we are expected to do. When these times take place, which they will, then it truly helps to think about a few of your past successes and a few of the not-so-pleasant alternatives to discipline.
Now teens, go learn, lead, and lay the way to a better world for everybody. Remember that it takes discipline to improve. More than likely, if you are honest with yourself, you can see a pattern of the majority of your past successes originating from times in your life when you were disciplined, and failures when you weren’t.
