3 Fun and Colorful Snacks Your Toddler Will Love

When it comes to books, toys and food, those that are bright and colourful catch the attention of young children the most. That’s due to the fact that they are still finding out about colors that makes them interested.

If you’re looking for new treats to prepare for your child, attempt these fun and vibrant snacks – they’re not only eye sweet but they’re delicious, too!

Unicorn Krispie Treats

What you require:

  • 6 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal
  • 2 cups marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • Rainbow sprinkles/Confetti

Melt the butter in a large non-stick pot and add the marshmallows, stirring continuously till melted. Remove from heat and add the cereal. Mix till cereal is evenly distributed then pour the mixture in a greased 13 x9 inch baking meal.

Integrate the white chocolate chips and coconut oil in a bowl and melt in the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir mix and heat in the microwave for another 30 seconds. Do this up until mixture is smooth then pour over the krispies in the baking dish. Cool for at least 1 hour prior to cutting into squares. Refrigerate to cool quicker.

Pretzel Rainbow Wands

What you require:

  • 2 cups white sweet coating
  • 1 1/2 cups pretzel rods
  • Sweet sprays (assorted in a range of colors)

Lay out pretzel prods and candy sprays. Line 3 baking sheets with wax paper. Melt the white sweet finish according package instructions then pour into a pint glass. Dip each pretzel rod into the melted finish, leaving about 1/4 of the stick so it can be held. Shake off excess then sprinkle with sweet sprinkles up until all sides are covered. Lay out on lined baking sheets and permit to set before serving.

Fruity Overnight Oats

What you need:

  • 1 1/2 cups Quaker Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1 1/2 cups low fat milk
  • 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1/4 cup sliced kiwi
  • 1/4 cup sliced ripe mango
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 quart mason container

Mix the oats, milk, chia seeds and honey together in a bowl. Stir until ingredients are well-combined. Cover the bowl with cling wrap then refrigerate over night. The next day, layer the oatmeal at the same time with fruit in the mason jar.
